Commercial Real Estate Associate Broker with Newmark Mountain West
Looking to buy, sell or capitalize commercial investments in Utah? Let’s talk.
James Mack began his career in commercial real estate in New York City in 2005 while pursuing a career in acting and musical theatre. He began by syndicating multifamily deals in Harlem and the Bronx. After receiving a master’s degree at NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate, James transitioned to underwriting office and industrial deals for owner/operators and private equity funds for a few years before moving to Utah and entering brokerage.
James advises clients on investments in the state of Utah. Previously, James spent many years in office tenant representation, where he represented small tech startups to tech unicorns to Fortune 500 companies. James has participated in more than $535 million in transaction volume.
Given his background in underwriting and a global network, James has found unique opportunities to help clients achieve their investment objectives. James has served as a member of the Utah CCIM Board of Directors, the Board of Pioneer High School for the Performing Arts and a committee member of the Mountain West Capital Network.
When James is not at work, he loves spending time with his wife Angela and their four children. He still acts in occasional commercials or movies to keep things interesting, loves to ski, hike, travel, and see Broadway shows.
